Amazing Piece of Crud

So I was still cleaning up from Thanksgiving this morning. It was the worst of the pots and pans and I, ever the positive thinker, decided to turn it into a meditation. You know, 'when washing dishes, just wash dishes." I was working hard, a bit too hard on my friend Elisabeth's baking sheet. Somewhere along the line I realized I was trying to 'win' some mind-made contest about who could clean a baking sheet better. Elisabeth and I have been working partners and friendly competitors over things that don't matter at all for decades now. No sooner did I laugh to discover my dastardly motive than I noticed something. The piece of crud left in the lower right corner of the sheet looked like a couple of crazy figures jousting. Like me and Elisabeth(we used to sword fight with our umbrellas). So I kept the pan--with her blessing---and am posting the photo.
Coincidentally, I recieved a wonderful card from Toni Tugenberg with payment for the Red Fiddler. The cover? A juicy painting by Joan Miro. So I am going to borrow a bit of the color for the jousters from Miro. This painting will have quite a different look from what I usually do. No doubt it will look especially good in the trash can tomorrow morning.
